Front Sight Training

Front Sight approaches firearms training in a unique way. Front Sight combines a basic philosophy of furthering our second amendment rights with a time tested and through curriculum through top of the line facilities and ultra professional instructors.

This training is top level instruction in a comfortable, fast paced and exciting atmosphere.

Starting out with the basics our handgun class was quickly brought up to speed on the range and safety rules. Using some basic range commands we all knew what we all needed to do to keep the range safe.

We were all treated like adults and no one was talked down to or ignored for their level of experience. Guys gals, young and old, we were all offered the same level of professionalism and attention.

With our peer coaches we were able to evaluate ourselves and approach our training individually to address our specific needs

We shot a lot, there was classroom time and of course the lecture blocks, but we were there to shoot and we did a lot of practice drills on the firing line.

The instructors would let us know approximate how many rounds we'd need for the next class so we didn't need to haul all of our ammo along each day. Our vehicles were secure and close by so we knew we could easily resupply when / if needed

Most lessons started with a demonstration, followed by Q&A then right to the ranges to shoot ourselves. On some of the more involved exercises we'd do a few dry runs followed by live fire drills.

We used training guns (provided) on the first day, but after we knew the safe way to do 'dry practice' the rest of the time we used the pistols we brought along
